 14% alc. Like a Clairet. Lies on the skins for 2 days. Very powerful for a Rosé. Rich flavour initially but short in the mouth - would be good for lamb.  6  £5.99
 Aux Trois Frères 2004 Côtes de Castillon 100% Merlot

 13.5% alc. Very Dark, almost black in colour. Good balance with some tannin.  7+  £9.99

 Le Presbytere 2003, Côtes de Castillon 100% Merlot
Bordeaux Laithwaites
 14% alc. Black colour with lots of legs. High tannins and may be too powerful for many.  7  £19.99
 Aux Trois Frères 2005 Côtes de Castillon, 100% Merlot, Bordeaux HJH Wines Ltd  We tasted this 'en primeur' as it was to be bottled next week. Deep colour, richly extracted with long legs and soft tannins  8  £12.99
