IWFS Berkshire Branch 305th Summer Lunch

The 305th Meeting Lunch was held at The Thatchers Arms, North Street, Theale, Berkshire. Shane Heppenstall and Chris Munns, who took over the Thatchers Arms in June last year, provided an interesting meal which was enjoyed by all. The aperitif was taken in the main bar by most members but the more hardy of them imbibed outdoors !

Chilled Melon and Ginger Soup with Melon Ribbons and Chilli Flakes.

Breast of Chicken Poached in Sherry Cream Sauce with Leeks and Mushrooms, served with Buttered New Potatoes
(Accompanying wine - Vanel Merlot Vin de Pays d'Oc 2006)
