IWFS Berkshire Branch 300th Meeting Celebration Lunch

The 300th Meeting Lunch was held at Cliveden House, Berkshire.The guest speaker was Philip Clark, Secretary of the IWFS, who was accompanied by his wife. After a Billecart-Salmon Reserve Brut champagne with canapés  in the Library,  lunch was taken in a French dining room overlooking the River Thames. The lunch consisted of:

Mille-feuille of Artichoke, Goat Cheese Served with mixed salad

Pan-roasted Breast of Guinea Fowl with braised cabbage,
truffle mash potato, roasted garlic jus and tarragon

Lemon and Blueberry Cheesecake Souffle,
Blueberry sorbet and compote

Freshly Brewed Coffee and Petits Fours

The wines accompanying the meal were: Sancerre, "Terre de Maimbury", Domaine Reverdy, Loire
and Fleurie, "Poncié" Domaine Pierre-Marie Chermette, Beaujolais
